Fashion & Beauty : Fans of Nollywood, talents, producers and directors all agree on one thing, Nollywood needs a major fashion upgrade. This hands on workshop taught by experienced personalities in the fashion industry addresses clothes styling for diverse body shapes [for actors and actresses], grooming, image branding, hair styling, skincare and makeup application. Attendees will learn some fun tricks and take home fashionable giftbags. Nollywood personalities [actresses, female directors and producers] will also enjoy a mini-makeover the following day in preparation for our Saturday event featuring our key speaker and Hollywood Icon Danny Glover.

Sound : The workshop will cover the basic types of microphones and pick up patterns, such as cardioids, dynamic, condenser, etc. It will then focus on specific microphones people can use to achieve what they are going for such as micing instruments, speech, adr, and getting ambient sound. People will know the critical choice of choosing the right tool for the job. After going over the types of mics, the workshops will focus on mixers and techniques on getting crisp, pristine sound, using the boom pole and encouraging good placement for the best possible sound.
